Loud and energetic since ’97!

Since the day she learned to speak, Tyler Symone has been a chatter box who is excited by life itself. So, it came as no shock to her parents when she dramatically ran into the living room at 5 years old, after a re-watch of her then favorite movie “Double Platinum”, stating that she was going to be an actress. “The next Diana Ross”, to be specific. Although her parents giggled at this toddler knowing nothing of what Ms. Ross was actually known for, they took her very seriously and enrolled her in acting classes, dance classes, and voice lessons right away. From there she was able to audition locally in the Metro Detroit area and appear in community stage productions as well as professionally in a national Ford commercial at 8 years old and a background player in the lifetime movie “Prayers For Bobby” feat. Sigourney Weaver at the age of 12. Over the last 20 years, Tyler has toured Europe singing choral music, as well as worked as a professional Actress in regional theatres all over the country. In 2019 she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Columbia College Chicago and soon made the move to Manhattan, New York where she is currently based. As an empath and proud Black female artist Tyler is specifically passionate about work that promotes social justice for all people regardless of color, sex, gender identity and body type.

Tyler is a member of the Actors Equity Association and is proudly represented by the agents at Shirley Hamilton Inc. for jobs in the Chicagoland area and The Movement Agency for all Theatre opportunities NYC and beyond.
